Report a Policy Violation
Across the globe, 27 million men, women, and children live in some form of slavery. That is more people at this moment than in all the centuries of the Atlantic Slave Trade. Something must be done. This contest serves two purposes: Raising awareness about human trafficking and raising funds for the Not For Sale organization.
Open to all mediums. Deadline is March 10, 2010 @ 11:59pm PST.

Artist's Comments
I had originally intended to paint this for my Media Experimentation class, but my teacher was biased against anime and made me start over again with a different subject. Maybe someday I'll get around to painting it, but don't hold your breath.
I meant it to be a cover page for Hybridflowers. My main character is Casablanca, shown here surrounded by the flower she was named for. Yes, those are cuts on her hands, but she did not commit suicide - it's part of the storyline. |
